and a myriad of regulations when moving freight internationally.

("Mod Act") has placed all compliance accountability solely on
the IMPORTER OF RECORD. Responsibility, fines and
penalties are not directed only at larger shippers. All
international shippers need a licensed customs expert on staff
or should have such resources available (other than their
customs broker who facilitates entries for them).
